EUROREGIÓ SOUND MAP
IMMERSIVE SONIC STORYTELLING
In collaboration with our NGO Sound Earth Legacy, we created the first Sound Heritage Observatory, developing the soundtracks of three unique destinations: Mallorca, Menorca, and the Collserola Natural Park in Barcelona. The project captured and preserved their distinctive soundscapes, translating each territory into an immersive auditory narrative.
Through field recordings of geophonies (natural elements such as wind, water, and geological movement) and biophonies (wildlife and living ecosystems), we highlighted sound as a fundamental part of cultural and environmental heritage. These soundscapes reveal the identity of a place beyond the visual, fostering deeper awareness, emotional connection, and ecological sensitivity.
All content was distributed through digital platforms, making these sonic landscapes accessible from anywhere in the world and positioning sound as a powerful tool for preservation, education, and experiential storytelling.
